So, you’ve read about performance snapshots, you’ve seen examples in the snapshots gallery, but what you really want to know is, how do I make a snapshot for my own organization? Here’s your chance to find out! Hear about the experiences of other organizations who have created and used performance snapshots to measure and communicate their impact at special event co-hosted by the Vancity Community Foundation and SAP.

On the evening of September 24, three local social enterprises will present on and participate in a panel discussion on their recently completed performance snapshots.
Graham Anderson from SHIFT Urban Cargo Delivery, a business that replaces conventional delivery trucks with sustainable, heavy-duty cargo trikes will be there with Susan Chambers, an external consultant, to discuss building the SHIFT performance snapshot.
Gretchen Jordan Bastow of Mama’s Wall Street Studio will also be there with MBA intern Amit Aurora, who developed the Mama’s Wall Street Studio snapshot on an internship funded by the ISIS Research Centre at the Sauder School of Business at UBC. Mama’s Wall Street Studio is an enterprise of the Aboriginal Mother Centre Society and produces socially, ethically and responsibly made promotional products.
Christa Mullaly of the Vancouver-based cleaning company The Cleaning Solution will be there to discuss the benefits and challenges of creating Demonstrating Value snapshots.
As Vancity Community Foundation Program Manager of Evaluation and Community Impact, Garth Yule will be there to share features of the new Demonstrating Value website, including the new gallery of performance snapshots, and present on dashboarding software from SAP.
